The Problem
There are plenty of organizers on the market, but there is a gap in organizational solutions for DIYer’s workspaces. Their workspaces quickly get cluttered by bits, pens, knives, and other must-needed small tools.
Inspiration
If DIYers have a problem, they make their solution. I was inspired by their creations and how they used them within their workspaces. Additionally, I identified common solutions using found objects, like an ordinary coffee mug.
Development
I explored form through a series of sketches, computer modeling, and 3D printing. Through user feedback, I found that there was a fine balance between storage space and the footprint of the case. Users want plenty of storage with the least impact on their benchtop space.

Two Cases, One Architecture
The case is designed for both drill and drive bits. Both bits are commonly used by DIYers. The shared architecture allows the same tooling to be used for the current and future assortments.
Built-In Depth Stop Measuring
The dual-sided lid-based measurement tool allows the user to set their depth stop collar from both the left and right side of the case.

Awesome Tabletop design with storage
The tabletop design makes this perfect for setting on a table or counter while doing some around-the-house DYI jobs. The storage compartments on each side works great for holding some of your other tools or supplies.

Organized and convenient!
I love the storage case which allows you to quickly find what you are looking for and even features a pull-out drawer. Overall this is a perfect set to keep out in your workspace or on the go!
